Here’s a cool activity to build relationships with students as school starts. It’s a great way for you to get to know them and vice versa. Happy to share the template!

This popped up on my first day back. As a teacher in this new world of teaching, I have never felt how important these words are for the start of this year.

My BFF from my first years in teaching & we’re still at it. She knows how much I love Jonathan Green & gifted me with a mask w/ an image of 1 of his paintings. Thank you 4 being such a good friend 25 years & counting.

Today we heard from a superhero teacher; Ms. Tumeka Gates was sooo inspirational today. She shared how our beloved & her family never judged her, but accepted her and her family beyond the circumstances! The “projects” was never a barrier for them!

Long day of zoom meetings but I'm excited and preparing for this new journey in education. Working on creating my first virtual PD. Oh the planning it takes for a 1 hour training.
