Day 1 (again) 4th time this year - 3rd in the last 3 months. Thank you to for support on my last post. I know what I did ‘wrong’ - I didn’t reach out to anyone in recovery and I was definitely lonely and tired. I also had step 4 fear I think. But I forgive myself

My sweet amazing people. A quick hello to let you know I’m alive. Thx for all the kind & caring msgs. I don’t deserve you. My life is a shambles. I feel like I shouldn’t be here as I have been drinking regularly for the past weeks & nobody needs to hear that.

Good morning! Four weeks ago today was my last drink. And my first meeting since June 2017. I don’t count it as my sobriety because I drank until quite late. But I’m quite amazed I’m almost at four weeks!

, I want to share my biggest advice this holiday week...don’t highjack your own happiness! I am the worst about being a perfectionist! I let myself get anxiety ridden when people try to help me! They know I don’t need help! They just want my time! Let them help

the seasons don’t change much where I live. But man this hits me hard today. I get to see the changes in myself, and how I view the world around me, and I get to trust my HP even when my disease of “NOW” and “INSTANT GRATIFICATION” tries to take over ❤️🙏🏼

59 weeks ago I took my last drink. I’m down 77 lbs. Sober life is totally wonderful. Just like exercise, sobriety is hard work. You can become a better person. A healthier you is worth fighting for.

Today's Taking myself out to lunch Being aware, that I'm now at ease enough to dine alone with no anxiety (And, yes, I have potentially over ordered)

Almost 2 full days sober. It's been rough but I've been going to meetings online, in person and doing my best to reach out.

Today I am grateful for: 1- we never went on honeymoon, I didn't feel worth it. Think I do now, got a brochure to look at! 2- a lovely night swim 3- a good day at school

My family doesn’t really celebrate thanksgiving, If anyone asked me what I was thankful for I’d like to be edgy and say nothing, but I AM grateful for my health and sobriety. I’m also thankful for who consistently remind me there’s humanity left in humanity.

Day 12...My covid isolation period ends tomorrow. I was worried about starting this journey in isolation, now I’m worried about taking it into the big bad world. The mind boggles although I feel my resolve has been strengthened recently. One hopes...🙏💪
