Feeling a fraud. So many of you being kind my heart hurts. I stopped drinking but I still take codeine. I'm not that great. I stopped drinking after a number of suicide attempts, stabbed my husband & spiralled into chaos. Thank you for your overwhelming kindness ๐Ÿ’™

I feel a lot better after a year of being sober. not better though. still need reminders that stopping drinking is only the start. Dealing with why I drank seems harder. I love learning these things because then I can work on them.

Recovery seems to be about seeing you have an intuition and learning to trust it. Sometimes we โ€˜just knowโ€™ what we need, even though we can think of a thousand reasons not to do/ get it? Does that resonate? Can you test out responding to that intuitive part of u today?

Tonight I owe it to and Thank you for just giving me that space, time and support to just process what's happening, to listen without judgement, to calm my fears and concerns and for most importantly giving me strength and hope to not give up
