Edge of Darkness by ⁦⁩ - I especially liked when Samuel catches Charity in a compromising situation he sees the truth of what is happening, rather than the misunderstanding typical in romance books. I loved the resolution.

Seared With Scars by ⁦⁩ - We see Samuel slipping closer to despair & Charity attempting to recover her courage. The mystery of the death of Samuel's father is interesting as is the interaction between the supporting characters.
