Many thanks to the author Kevin Crossley-Holland for his talk today on Norse Myths and Legends and the spread of the Vikings. Year 7 and 8 loved the workshop and have produced some fantastic short stories.

This week we tried a new structure during 5th grade novel study! Students split off into smaller groups and discussed with their peers! Each student was responsible for a role and they held each other accountable for their learning in their response journal!

I'm trying to finish up blogs for the rest of the week. Tomorrow is the start of End Game & I don't want to see any thing on internet so I'll be off this weekend. Perfect time for me to read my two books

We have loved reading Danny the Champion of the World this holiday, but finding another copy so that W can read along has been great; seeing new vocab & reading different characters. I’m going to try using multiple copies for the next book that we read together.
