Sadly, there are nutrition students,dietetic interns & dietitians who are in this field, not because they want to use nutrition science & evidence-based practice to help people,but so they can use the RD credential to advance their own agenda as wellness influencers.

I don't explicitly disagree with the authors' main conclusion (the langiage is a bit too "anti-ADA" for my taste), but I also don't think adhering to alt. criterion (NOT a requirement btw) would have changed the findings. Worth a read for perspective.

Why don’t RDs want to work in the kitchen? Because today I spent the whole day serving food - not doing RD things. If you need a food service manager, hire a food service manager. The only place an RD has in the kitchen is writing menus.

Actually I hardly ever cheat. But it looked so nice and orange and it's just a fruit that dietitians would have no problem recommending to someone with T2DM. Surely they wouldn't recommend something unhealthy?
