Finally starting to get caught up on section two of the workshop, doing a 3D representation of my 2D SmoothLife output. Getting some serious Minecraft on drugs by way of night goggles vibes. Still hoping to do some of the other awesome extensions from this section!

Exploring Cyclic Cellular Automaton in 's compute shader workshop. This was my favorite result after tinkering with the first assignment. Based on the work of Fisch, Gravner, Griffeath '91

Rt Over a million particles running real-time on the gpu. They’re attracted to each other while having a weaker desire to reassemble the image.

last but not least here is a repeat of a pattern shown above, just bcs cycling through color schemes is fun. also showed us a very clever way to match & pair hues👌👌

I've been exploring Cyclic Cellular Automaton developed by David Griffeath thanks to I'm amazed at the visual diversity you can generate from coding simple cell behaviour

More compute shaders for Twitter to compress the life out of. This time, with multi neighbourhood cellular automata, thing are looking mouldy.
