I dare anyone to live on $1000 per month! It's discrimination, pure and simple. We have value. Disabled, poor & vulnerable people have received no help or support from Kenney & the UCP. In fact, they have received cruel CUTS.

Poverty is the mother of several crimes. A poor girl stole a phone to pay for her school fees. The owner discovered it, decided to forgive her & even payed for her school fees. Several such crimes can be prempted with a little sensitivity to people around us.

Apparently Canadians need a minimum of $2000 per month to survive & yet people who are too sick to work in Alberta receive $1000 per month or less. This is discrimination. Punishing sick people for being sick is cruel & completely lacking in compassion.

Those existing in are left out of the supports needed to step up and out of despair. Many PWD, the workers denied & deemed. There is no motivation, it's impossible to survive the cost of living today. FORD needs a Lesson in what it's like to suffer in silence.

If you're motivated to donate to the food bank or other charity remember the need is there because the govt refuses to provide people with an adequate amount to live on. Please write, call or email your MLA asking them to increase assistance benefits?

Aggression-through-government has created most of the in the world today. Trying to alleviate poverty with more aggression ends up making the poorer. Government doesn't solve our problems, it often just makes matters worse.

Why is it that urgent issues related to poverty, including child poverty, fail to create a national outcry & loud calls for policy change from the wider population? One reason is the Toxic Narrative. THIS is what my book is about.
