It's my birthday today & I breathed deep & sucked the marrow of the air, it tasted raw like the blood of stars, with a hint of angst & sweet blueberries, I think this may be the cache of mystery called life... πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈπŸŒˆπŸ’œ

I'm working on this new poetry book, which you guys voted to call Abnormal Poetry, and peeked at all poetry I wrote in a creative writing class in 2013. My professor was being kind when he said no one would publish me, in retrospect. I sucked.

We are a small, independent micro-press. We do not court drama. We do not minimize people. We will not tolerate those (poets, editors, presses) who do. We would like to build people up, and are passionate about what we do.

I suffer from debilitating invisible chronic pain & am on meds which basically have altered my neurological wiring. Today, for the first time I met someone in the workplace who understood the trauma of this. I wept.

there's pain and there's love, the gloom of darkness in letting you go, and the ray of hope in fighting for you in the wave of it all there's you, brewing all these charms for my soul and me, always caught up in the middle πŸƒ
