Patients who have silicone gel-filled implants will need to get regular MRI scans to check for silent ruptures. In the rare event of an implant rupture, the implant will have to be removed or replaced.

Today’s practice utilized the rolled cuff at the bottom of a sterile glove. Not as festive, but a great, cost-effective way to practice, as detailed in “A Simple and Cost-effective Method for Practicing Microsurgery”
