I had to do a double take, but sure enough that’s a planter. In Missouri. In the field. Planting. On July 17th. In ground that was flooded out a few weeks ago. 2019, I hope we never see a year like you ever again.

For you guys up north , here’s what you get with month late planted corn . Left planted 4-1 (120 day) Right replanted 5-15 . (112 day) Both irrigated and optimum growing conditions. Adjacent fields.

starting up with sugarcane! We are using cane cut into 8-10 in billets for our seed source. Each billet has 2-3 eyes which is where the cane emerges from. Setting ourselves up to make 5+tons of sugar per acre
