We are blessed in this area, when compared to the hand many have been dealt with . HOWEVER, it is 79 degrees now, picked up 3/4 in rain in last few days...and I can find corn rolling. Limited precip ahead. Chicago seems out of step...???? Or delayed...????

I’d be a little more enthusiastic if they’d been planted June 12th and not July 12th. Grow little beans grow. Only time will tell how it works out

The terrible conditions come after months of wet weather where many couldn't even get a crop in the ground. While the trade waits on official prevent plant numbers sources say the government already has answers.

I had to do a double take, but sure enough that’s a planter. In Missouri. In the field. Planting. On July 17th. In ground that was flooded out a few weeks ago. 2019, I hope we never see a year like you ever again.

More neighborly action out here at Murra Warra! It's a hive of activity in the paddocks, much more interesting to look at than our usual view of watching grass grow!

I know it's ironic but feedlots are hoping that some crops this year get frosted so we can have some hay. Hay will be tight this year
