Could be a silly children's story in this photo! Last few days of wild bird seed in feeders & some in an old teapot suspended on high which this morning a female flew up to in her Cirque du Soleil style & managed to have some seeds before flying off

The Lady Amherst was named for the wife of Lord Amherst, the former Prime Minister of India. This is the male Lady Amherst Pheasant. The lady Lady Amherst Pheasant is more sensibly camouflaged from predators.

Thanks to from for coming in and showing our students how to butcher and cook pheasant! They made an amazing pheasant bruschetta with horseradish mayo and apple. Thanks to for supplying the pheasant.
