Another day at summer school looks good: cracking meta-analysis ‘code’ (all thanks to prof. dr Olaf Dekkers), warm-up with practical exercise using STATA or R (really appreciate the flexibility), and refreshing time afterwards.

I had simply the best time at summer school. Huge thanks to for making it possible, teaching professors for sharing their knowledge and motivating us, and to all fellow participants for being passionate about science and so easy-going

2. Medicine use in pregnancy is increasing – this is of concern because many medicines lack evidence of safety during pregnancy. Cohort studies using large health databases can explore safety issues quickly, cheaply & ethically.

Is there anyone out there in pharmacoepidemiology (or related areas) who can tell me how much I'd need to pay a researcher (like a math/stats genius/scientific skeptic grad student or post-doc) to fact-check my refs/claims in a book? Per hour.
