if you’re awake at 8:00 am and have ever thought, “why is it that women’s TV often gets left out of conversations about quality TV?” you’re in luck! i’m talking about that in delaware B!

Hey, , there was a conf attendee pumping in a hotel restroom. She seemed cool with it & is a total badass for getting it done, but for fthe future, if you include space for nursing/pumping moms, that would be outstanding. Would be great to give women the choice.

was again one of the most stimulating conferences I've been to though. Papers on Black Panther, The Bachelor, Amy Schumer, Drag Race, Riot Grrrl, Beyoncé, Melania, Zootopia.. and then to see Doug Jones who has been in more things than I even knew! Til next year I hope!

Great, thought provoking panel this afternoon on psychoanalysis, theory, & pop culture where I learned about paranoia schizophrenia and capitalism in Mr. Robot, participatory culture & the culture industry, and authoritarian dictatorships and pre-ideological tribalism.

This talk at about gamifying classrooms is reigniting my dream of giving students a simplified d&d adventure and then have them solve ethical problems as a party. It seems like such a good way to give them examples of different kinds of reasoning!

Just because some panels are short is no reason for a single presenter/panel chair to decide to give a 30 minute talk. Respect the audience, and respect fellow panelists and keep to the time.

I've seen a bingo card going around, but shall we also have a drinking game? Male audience member in Q&A restates a point that female presenter clearly made, as though he came up with it first - take a shot!
