All the pics from pacing 1:56:03 (1:55:56) on Sunday with Ronald aka β€œSpeedy” our 5:30 bus driver at the HAC Handicap 21km run. We paced that thing perfectly well, only losing 4 guys along the way. Really proud of these guys.

Limit the time you work on a task to 15-20 minutes followed by an equal amount of time to rest. Then take the time to ask your body if it's ready to do more (and really listen to the answer). via

Thursday nite in Vegas is like Friday nite on a float trip . . If you over-do it, the rest of the weekend may be miserable.

In recovery today. Yesterday I did what I wanted and pushed a little too hard. Almost 12 hrs sleep later and I realise today I'm just going to have to say no and that's ok. No more spoons.

What makes pacing so enjoyable? Knowing in some small way we have helped dreams come true for people trying to improve themselves. The on point today, great job all.

I’m slightly taller than the standard R2 unit. I β€œthink” I’m settling into it now and able to focus as oppose to scattergun reading. Awaiting the feedback from first submission Really enjoying reading about something I love.

Every task is a series of smaller tasks. Try to break your tasks down into the smallest components and focus on one piece at a time.

Set a timer (and heed it) when working on tasks. When the timer goes off, stop and take a break to avoid over-doing it.
