Twitter, my bike was stolen from my porch this week in Centretown! Black Peugeot with purple lettering. Made in France, purchased in Cologne, Germany.

So whoever did this? You suck. I’m going to be late for my kids and rely on my bike to get basically everywhere. A new bike was NOT in my finances 😡(stolen from Bank and Slater)

Bike lanes don't harm businesses. It's time we prove it with a Bloor-style bike lane pilot project on Bank Street in the Glebe and Old Ottawa South. Here's my case:

We've probably said this about every LRT station (in the planning phase) at some point: "it doesn't look like there's enough bike parking" The good news it, it *should be* easy and inexpensive to add more parking, adjusting until demand is met.

Just watched a cyclist get struck by a driver turning right. Went over to check their health and provide my info as a witness. Driver said "I really need to stop doing this". Cyclist said "This isn't my first time being hit". How is this the status quo?

Am trying out with my bike today! So far, at this time of day, no problem. However, the doors are not closing properly on this particular train, so we are getting held up a bit. Fingers crossed we are up and running soon. 🚴‍♀️

Something new today: this driver was actually driving on the raised lane at NAG. Not sure how you manage to do that.

Friends my bike was stolen today. If you see a small frame giant bike that looks like the closest bike in this (bad) pic that has a pink bell black bike rack and rent a bike stickers still on it under the handle bars let me know

I'm off for a 5 day camping trip with everything shown here. I made sure to include the Flora bridge in my route: WAY easier than lifting this rig across the locks.

Remember people were upset about the loss of parking on Holland Ave in favour of safer cycling due to the *temporary* closure of an and bridge?

Replying to @DaveInOrleans
I'm literally losing count of how many there are now, I know the city only allows the bikes to locked up for six months maybe there should be an ghost rack to put em all after the six months.

As someone who spends a lot of time walking along the canal with a stroller and a dog these days, and a frequent cyclist - man, some cyclists make some unsafe and stupid passes and maneuvers along the MUPs. Doesn’t show a lot of respect for other users.

Kind of a weird way to ride home, but no Carling MUP! 😂 plus 3K extra - tail end over Flora and back to OOS avoiding Bank Bridge

E-bikes are fine. A gas powered bike on the MUP or the street is illegal. Seen frequently commuting Westbound on MUP around 5'ish close to Corkstown/Moodie

Bike lane, door opening without looking, AND the sidewalk. Triple score!
