Crossing this rope bridge in the wind requires strong vestibular skills! If kids ask why they got to work on balance and grip strength in therapy sessions, now they get to see a visual of why they have to. Otherwise, it is a difficult a few hundred meters.

Now I have a new justification for my OTA students to considering going abroad for international conferences in their futures- expanding horizons and having opportunities to hear what each country has to offer in OT.

Busy Monday: had 5 visits and administered the HELP and PDMS-2 for the upcoming 3 and 6 month progress reports (respectively) due on Friday. Excited to see the kids play with the Lego animals, mini bean bags (found at home) and tic tac toe set (made at my HS metal shop).

👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽Every student needs to hear/read this. Especially in those moments when doubt creeps in & makes you question what you know or when you may feel like you don't know anything. Trust in the foundations ... they will always lead the way.

Today was a bad day, but my prayers have been answered. My per diem site ended up cancelling me for the rest of the month... I think it was because I couldn't work the hours, but I needed a breather and focus on . I'll have fewer visits on Saturday.

A patient in her late 80s had a hard time dealing with the way she looked in the mirror, and she felt old. I told her that she's beautiful, no matter what she looked like. Beauty is not about youthful good looks- it's about how this person has grown into who she is today.

Tough day today. Working 2 jobs 6 days a week is grueling because I'm always hurrying from place to place. Now, I feel that I don't have much time for myself anymore. As a person, I need more time and effort to ensure I do my job right.
