Storm Prediction Center has increased the threat of severe storms from Marginal to Slight Risk on Sat. That means that the potential for severe storms has increased from isolated to scattered. may bring large hail and/or damaging winds.

Lots of spinning showing in the water vapor imagery today. Low off the coast of Southern CA will bring heavy rainfall and potentially strong storms to portions of Northern CA and Southern OR, possibly as early as tonight but moreso Saturday.

Thunderstorms are moving northeast tonight which can be seen in these yellow and red areas on the radar. There is a slight chance for storms clipping Willamette Pass, but any that do form will be short lived as they are trending more east of the area. Stay tuned for updates

Good Morning! Already a mild start to a very warm day expected today! ☀️ Two more days of 90s and sun as a dominant ridge remains across the west, but cooler weather will return by Saturday as a cut-off low moves over the region bringing storms.

Take a look at the pollen count today. Grass is on the rise. I expect it to remain very high tomorrow. We will get some relief on Saturday with the rain, but likely rebound next week.
