Let me be clear, conflates any treatment of pain with being a "pill mill". This is disgusting. The thread is their playbook of destroying hard working MD careers and putting them in prison - for longer sentences than heroin traffickers.

Limiting access to rx has "done little to reduce OD deaths" b/c illegal (not medical) use fuels the crisis. What strategies should policy makers consider? Safe drug use sites, harm reduction, & increased access to treatment (Barry 2018).

I think those "researchers" are reaching way too far to draw that ridiculous conclusion! If anything, patients are doing/considering due to a lack of appropriate doses for their pain NOT b/c of but rather uncontrolled Shame on you!
