This is an absolute no-brainer, well done and for closing Victoria Street to traffic. One of the most loved streets in Edinburgh is now so much safer, quieter and less polluted. Let’s hope this can become permanent!

Well Edinburgh’s was as good as I hoped. Just shows what a city can achieve when it’s open to people and not dominated by cars. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. Hope it can be extended.

Very much enjoyed the today in . Great to see Cockburn St and Victoria St without cars. At least those two streets should be an absolute no-brainer to permanently pedestrianise.

Stuff like hula-hooping, giant chess, badminton, is great cos they show how much space we have for play - even in small, busy areas - when traffic is restricted. .

Edinburgh’s closes city centre roads to cars, and opens them up to people. A healthier city, with clean air.
