How proud can a Chief be! Briefing with my Special Constabulary colleagues before going out on patrol targeting City centre violence, OCGs and burglary offenders. 45 Officers who volunteer an average of 37 hours a week to keep our communities safe. Outstanding

Two hours into the shift and two Specials, a male and a female are assaulted by a male during a stop search. Both punched in face by the male who ran off. The Officers chased and detained him. Now in custody. Proud of the Officers who are shaken but ok.

Busy night tonight for our lates team - whilst on water call out we had 8 jobs in as many hours and we even had to break into a run to help arrest a male for GBH! Finished off the night with a drink driver in the cells as well

Great to bump into 2 of our CSO’s in town today! Whilst I was chatting with them, a number of members of public came up to them to seek advice & thanked them for being there! The team are out all weekend in key areas providing reassurance! 😊

As we spend this time with family and friends, let this also be a time we reflect and honor the memory of those we have lost. Our CGI family wishes you all a safe and happy weekend.

ET DI. Few bits happening across the force over night. One of the skills of all officers is the ability to walk into work and take control and understand a job that's happened prior to thier shift. Often time critical due to PACE.

My team worked tirelessly on this enquiry last year. Without doubt one of the most disturbing, heinous crimes our county has ever seen. Speechless about the sentencing but proud of our efforts.
