At this time of the year we hear the seiners fishing all hours of the day, sometimes setting their nets right at our entrance so we can't get out. Once they're done the fish are gone. I took this pic after a 2 min walk from my house.

Happy to announce work on the trailer has officially finished, going to contemplate a few more mods after I get some out of it. Video diary will be on my channel Friday followed by the reveal and camp out the following week! YouTube link in the Bio.

Took a taxi from Truxton, NY to Cortland, NY and will take one back. Will have to be asked to be dropped at a right of way so we can hike 1/2 mi back home. This is how horror movies start

It's a rainy day here and I love how the rain-speckled windows seem to reflect more nuanced light. What rainy day knick-knacks do you have in your window? I've got a green quartz ball in a hooligan oil cup of Native Alaskan design on spice jars.

I've seen a lot of strange things wash up in a storm but this is the strangest. I live in the largest temperate rainforest on earth, but no one out here ever uses an umbrella. So where did it come from? What's it's story? Any ideas?

Did some editing then climbed onto my parents' floathouse roof. The recent storm tore up some of their roofing & I had to screw it down & wet patch the old screw holes. My floathouse is in the background w greenhouse L & my dad's workshop R.
