Thank you on behalf of all of the families who relive this tragedy on its anniversary every year. I don’t have too many memories of my Dad as I was quite young when this happened but I send love to all those affected by that terrible loss. ❤️

Today is one of those days when you remember where you were when you heard the news. For those who can, memories fade back today. For those who can't, we work to keep the memory alive none-the-less. All these years later, still, we remember the 84.

That is what brings me some comfort knowing that this tragedy brought forth change in offshore safety! I would never want any family to go through what we went through so any new safety policy that was put in place to keep you all safe is worth it❤️. Stay Safe!

My dad was working on one of the support ships that had responded to her distress call. It was a tragedy that shook the marine world abroad. The only solace that came from this was that it made rigs safer from accidents like this.

Thank you Fred. Sorry for the loss of your cousin. My Dad wasn’t supposed to be on that shift as he was filling in for someone who was sick. Guess it was meant to be unfortunately😞. I was too young to have many memories of Dad but hold dear the ones I do have🥰.
