Today marks our 125th anniversary as a football club. Formed in 1895 as Pine Villa to then becoming Oldham Athletic four years later and playing at Boundary Park ever since, it's a club that not only has plenty of history but means a lot to its people and the town itself.

The best way to celebrate the 125th anniversary would be for AL to sell the club. There are people out there who are interested in the club & have expressed that interest to the club. AL knows it. Do the right thing and we can all live happily ever after.

Happy 125th Anniversary to the place that has meant so much to me and generations of my family and friends. It’s at an all-time low, but it’s still mine. Such a shame that the memories are tainted by individuals who think they know better. πŸ’™πŸ’™

Since AL’s involvement with the club (Aug 2017) these are all the players that have been signed during his tenure. I realise there is a crossover from Corney era. 65 players there. 25 of which didn’t play 10+ league games despite 15 being perm signings. 4 didn’t play.

A personal one for but today marks 48 years since his grandad, Tom Shipman passed away in his home town of Mansfield at the age of 61. Played a large number of games during wartime football and was pretty much an ever present during this time πŸ’™

Happy 125th Birthday . Sat on my Dads shoulders under the floodlights in the Chaddy End in 1991 I fell in love. I’d never witnessed anything like it. Thanks for all the memories, the laughs, the amazing people I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and can now call friends πŸ’™
