Top tips for reducing chatter in the classroom please. Doing the stare and the stance are no longer working.

Teachers, when do you do the bulk of your marking? Someone's suggested that I shouldn't take marking home with me after school, but I don't know when else I'd get it done!

So I get to meet the parents of my new year 7 form next month. I’m so scared πŸ˜‚ what if they think I’m too young? What if they ask me something I don’t know the answer to?!?!

Application submitted. Confirmation of receipt received. I've never submitted an application this long before the deadline. This is the best application I have submitted this year. If this doesn't get me an interview nothing will.

Awake at a silly time on a Sunday morning feeling apprehensive about next week: I am booked to work 4.5 days - the most I've worked since leaving my first teaching job in february; I will be waiting to find out if I have an interview; I have another application to complete.

This is what I am met with from the WJEC to know what I am teaching for A-Level next year during the . Luckily, I will be provided with a lot of resources from the school in Sept. However, I'd like to spend sometime making stuff of my own. Where would you start?

I’ll be honest, my main concern about my year at this stage is how I’m going to support my currently-DfE-funded Lush habit...

TEACHERS πŸ‘©β€πŸ« I still want to do formal lesson plans/evaluations for my NQT year, but I want to come away from the 10-page ones I use for my PGCE. Any recommendations on a simple lesson plan/evaluation layout that I can use?

Decided to do a carousel lesson to consolidate knowledge on school subjects and structuring opinions for my last NQT observation. Year 8 were fantastic and made me extremely proud! Tenses, knowledge of grammar rules, fab recall of language, and developing skills
