This is a disaster! A paradise destroyed. BC has treacherous waters, busy existing marine traffic & big storms. Increasing tanker traffic seven-fold is a terrible idea. Spill will not be a matter of "if" but "when".

It's official: Bill C-48 just became law in Canada. This is a huge milestone in the fight to defend our coast from oil tankers. There is always more work to do, but today we're celebrating and all the people who helped achieve this victory!
