Unbelievable that there are people who celebrate under the guise of “feminism”. Every day I celebrate my freedom because I don’t have to wear it anymore. Enjoying every moment the wind blows through my hair. A freedom I will never take for granted!

Hijab was created by ancient men as an oppressive tool to keep their "goods" wrapped-up for the right buyer. It's a misogynistic concept. In some countries it is forced by laws, in most others it is pressured by conservative society.

ain’t trending but you know what is? cuz there are people who wear 🧕🏻cuz they love their religion & are not oppressed. It was my decision and I’m not gonna let anyone tell me otherwise. I am free, liberated & I’m confident, wearing hijab doesn’t change that.

I was forced to wear hijab since I was 11 years old and I wore it for 8 years. I was constantly beaten and physically abused by my father to wear it. I’m so happy that now I’m independent, that I can feel the wind touch my ears and hair.

Happy ❤️ I will never cover my hair ever again, I'm free to choose how I dress and no man will ever decide for me again. Women all over the world deserve this freedom.

I’m estranged from my family and community here because of my decision to not marry off and live a life I didn’t want. It’s exhilarating wearing whatever I choose and living life by my own terms.I’m not being abused anymore. Life’s good.

On this day when people are supporting for those who are oppressed for wearing , it's ever so important to also support , for all those who are forced into wearing hijab. For all those lives this piece of cloth controls and destroys.

Iran: Any woman to remove her hijab🧕in public is a crime and faces long term jail. Despite of being at risk these women are taking off their headscarves throwing it up in the air. No to compulsory . .

Dancing in with the hijab down and with a smile. Iran has too much culture and life to be hidden under religious veils. In desperation religion tries to force hijab by law in Iran. We say give that right to the people. .

The hijab is an ancient tool established by 7th-century Islamic men to enforce what feminists nowadays call "rape culture". Supporting the hijab is contrary to everything that freedom, human rights, and women's rights stand for.

Cute then, cute now 🐰 I wanted to wear the hijab really badly as a child to be like the adults around me. Today I'm happy to be without it 💁🏾‍♀️💕 🥰🥰🥰

When I was 12, my mom asked me one day if I wanted to start wearing it. I complied but grew to hate it and what it stood for. Later when I tried to stop wearing it, I wasn't allowed. I finally stopped in my 20s, because I was lucky to be in the US

Do you how it feels to go outside during summer maybe buy an ice cream then sit down in a park or anywhere you can enjoy the breeze of a fresh air on your skin and hair while eating that delicious ice cream you just bought. I don’t.

"My clothes respect my humanity, and are part of my freedom of choice, and not the choice of society with its sick and backwards traditions which it then labels Sharia."
