what an absolutely honest inspiration. Fantastic night made even better by being invited on stage. An honour to be that close. A few wasted ?anything went but nobody for update on new album or if the lyrics he gave away had borne fruit.

Conversations with in Cardiff last night was an incredible evening. Discussing life, alongside those songs... so much has changed since those early gigs with The Birthday Party. But that raw connection with the audience clearly still matters to him.

Looks like Twitter's too lazy to show the thumbnail. It's a beautiful session where he also played "God is in The House" and "And No More Shall We Part"

Mind blown by a truly special evening with , in the building I work in! What a weird & brilliant gig/conversation. This will stay with me for a long time. The walk home through the Elton crowd just added to the strangeness.

I might have been at a very high altitude but every song was crystal clear, passionate and totally brilliant.

Anyone lucky enough to get tickets to see Nick Cave tonight might be interested in his second novel, 'The Death of Bunny Munro'. Part Kafka, part the Gospel According to St Mark, part Benny Hill, it's lyrical and horrifying, hilarious and (very) filthy.

Really enjoyed seeing First time. Finishing with Ship Song...awesome. It was our wedding song and our 3rd wedding anniversary. Doesn’t get better than that

sang & talked and held the audience on his own for over two and a half hours. It was interesting, intense and very moving at times. Loved the fact that fans seated on stage had not paid extra but were randomly selected.
