Our NHS is pushed to the brink through chronic staff shortages of around 100,000 after years of govt incompetence. We need to give our NHS staff fair pay, invest in development & training, bring back the bursary and properly value those who care for us

The perfect example of an OPC letter from Prof Hindmarsh Addressed to my son, focussing on what is important to him, encouraging, explaining blood results, acknowledging that T1D is tough and a plan for a new pump. GP is cc’ed in. All OPC letters should be like this!

Was gonna tweet this in hospital but... forgot. All the nurses I dealt with from A&E to on the ward were nothing but kind, friendly and patient There are no tips for good service on the nhs, they are just genuinely good people!
