Don't forget to look for optic disc drusen on previous CT in patients referred for papilledema (often not mentioned in the report by radiologists). This suggests the patient has pseudopapilledema and not real optic disc edema.

Reason #5874 why I love : The magic of the physical exam! 💫 Yesterday we had a pt whose exam was far more extensive than prior imaging indicated. Got updated CT today and BAM! Confirmed evolving stroke! Attending told us to always trust a good exam first and foremost!
