One reason it's helpful to have a refreshed regulation in Ohio: increasing demand for commercial solar means clear rules of the road are more important than ever for getting projects through the pipeline (mixed metaphor alert, I know).

Problem with conventional and battery storage is that house must rewired for critical load sub-panel and electric utilities lose money on every solar installation. This is why utilities don't like distributed solar generation.

Definition for : In a net metering program... a customer's meter runs backwards if the electricity generated is more than they are consuming... They only pay for their net consumption: the amount of resources consumed, minus the amount generated.
