Apparently someone in the Senate chamber didn't stand for the Pledge of Allegiance: Sen. Brian Pettyjohn stood to remind the chamber that Senate rules say anyone who is unwilling to salute the flag should leave the chamber.

The Joint Committee on Capital Improvement met from 9 to 11 and then broke for lunch with plans to come back at 12. A few minutes after 12, we were told they'd be back around 12:45. Now, we learned the meeting has been canceled and the committee will resume after session.
