Really love this study. I take amino acids to treat my Narcolespy/cataplexy and lucid dreams. It works well for me. It is advised to have them checked first.

Doctors can be experienced in diagnosis & treatment. But they can never experience conditions as their patients do. I didn't fully understand all the ways was impacting my health until I went to the Narcolepsy UK conference. (I learned about event through Google)

Talking to others living with helped me identify & understand symptoms I hadn't connected. They used Medical terms in a context I could relate to my own experience. This gave me the language I needed in order to communicate effectively with my neurologist.

Narcotics and Narcolepsy dont mix well. Not only am I in pain, but the medication I am on is messing with my sleep so much. I have so much more sleep paralysis when I take this crap. Nothing like waking up to shadow people next to my bed, and I can't move.

I figured that out in highschool, but lost it somewhere along life's path. Thanks to for helping me recognize the girl in the mirror. Beautiful disaster that she is, she has been locked away for so long that I thought I'd never see her again!
