Nantwich Museum Nov 24
The Old Grammar School was in the grounds of St Mary's Church. Previously a guild hall, it was recorded as a school in 1572. It escaped the huge fire in 1583. The building was demolished in 1860 & the school moved to new premises in Welsh Row
