I have to share this, because - hello LOVE! I ordered it in hopes that I could edit my project and get it on KDP ASAP. My life has other plans, though. I'm going to sit on it until #2019, but I need to share. My designer read my mind . . . meet my first book cover!

My draft of All The Devils Are Here (aka the Tempest WIP) for is already way longer than I thought it would be (sigh) but I'm really happy with how the story is coming. Here's some snippets from one of my favorite scenes. Reminder that rough draft is rough.

So I didn't win , but I do have 37,000 words of a new world, a bunch of new characters, and some cracking scenes. Plus, I carried some momentum into a new short story, which I think has real potential, so I'm a happy writer this December. Any other happy losers?
