I think the reason why so many people got moved by in is that being there was more harmful than helpful at one point. There should be a specific system to provide for kids in her situation.

Just finished Girls Incarcerated on Netflix. if you’re out there, you are so strong & special. You’re inspiring so many souls out there with your positivity & you’ve inspired me to get out & help the youth in my community. Thank you 💛

There needs to be an entire dedicated system to help people like she is good in every way and does NOT deserve to be a nameless, faceless kid in a ‘system’ which fails to support her

👏is 👏not 👏an 👏ACCSESSORY. If you think you can provide for her, be her parent, or love her? Then why don't you do that for the faceless/nameless kid in YOUR OWN community. Stop being another empty promise. If you want to help then go find someone who needs it.

There is a child just like living within 10 miles of you. Find out their story for yourself by supporting them

Omg if you haven’t watched Girls Incarcerated on yet please do. There is a 15 y/o girl, Najwa Pollard, who so needs someone with a voice to speak out for her. Her story is absolutely heartbreaking, but it needs to be heard.

Girls Incarcerated was an amazing watch but seeing all of these people wanting to take care of/adopt/send money/goodies to is honestly irritating. There are dozens of children in her situation in your OWN community. Stop acting like she’s the only one. Do your part.
