2:35 PM Radar Update We have had a few showers develop across NE MS and west Alabama. This activity will move off to the NE as we continue throughout the rest of the evening hours. Current thinking is that everything will remain below severe limits in our area today.

The threat for severe weather has been trimmed back for many areas as most of us will only see light showers this morning. A few stronger storms with gusty winds and thunder are still possible later this afternoon.

Storms in Louisiana have been able to hold together well. The SPC has upgraded portions of Louisiana and South MS into a Level 2 or Slight Risk for severe weather.
