Increase in us, Lord, the faith you have given us, and bring to a harvest worthy of heaven the praise we offer you at the beginning of this new day. 🙏🏻

Meditation on MP: 1 Kings 10:1-25 Acts 17:1-15 Here we are taught the difference between a nominalism which adheres to the shape of inherited truths, but is not open to new insight, and the desire for wisdom, which requires an openness to being taught afresh.

Thoughts from : I never noticed it before, but when the people ask God to remove the serpents from the camp (serpents God put there because of the people's sin), God doesn't remove them. God gives them a cure for the serpent's poison - look up.

As we celebrate the resurrection of your beloved Son, help is to spend this day in the spirit of joy (by allowing the to prevail over the Vikings). Hopefully that addition to the intercession was ok in private recitation.
