Great idea from . Students write 📩 to ss in other class. They don’t ✍️ name on it. Teacher collects it & knows order collected in. Next class comes in, reads📩 & responds. Ss gets same partners 4 few mos. Eventually ss create w/lang & move past memorized lang

One of my biggest takeaways from my training last year was tuning in better to how students respond to questions. Many ss speak clearly and show understanding of questions, but they don't always respond with complete sentences, which is a must for Intermediate!

So thankful that so many of our MHS Spanish, French & Italian students volunteered their post-exams and weekend time to serve as interviewees to the language teachers learning how to conduct interviews to assess language proficiency!

Thanks to my training I changed my game of Ask Ask Switch to have questions that provoked intermediate level answers. Changing my wording to say “cuéntame de/háblame de” let them show off their language more
