I’ve seen a lot in my travels over the last 40 years but this stopped me in my tracks. Thank you to this young man for serving our country and thank you to the elders that welcomed him home with such honor. God bless our military and God bless America!

Ya'll....my husband just said that getting the kids breakfast while I slept in for the last 2 weeks is "almost the same as doing a deployment by myself" so he knows what I went through.... I just can't even right now....

Today we officially said goodbye to my brother who is deploying overseas, to a somewhat dangerous place. It's his second time on tour. We all cried through our goodbyes, even him and he hardly cries. It's gonna be a long 2019 until he's home.

And for the singles, this applies to our parents and siblings. I have always said I wouldn’t be able to do what I’ve done without the support of my family. From looking after my house and pets to keeping up moral with letters and packages when overseas.

I wish the government cared about military families as much as they do their members. Who knows if I'll ever get to see a psychiatrist? I need one so badly 😣
