Personally, I feel a one-page knowledge organiser doesn’t cover enough for KS4 so KS4 Spanish knowledge booklets being completed to compliment each ‘I can’ statement. First booklet of 21 statements done for the topic Future aspirations, Study and Work.

Compiling retrieval booklets for my Y6-Y8 sts w/key ref materials, WAGOLLs copied from previous yr's exercise books etc. To stick into back of their new exercise books. Pourtant Word me rend folle!!!🤬Must be a better way to create booklets than Word templates?

We renamed it to the 'languages department' years ago in my school. I was never a fan of 'MFL'. Modern? Spanish as we know it goes back to the 13th C. Foreign? Not at all, languages are like air, they know no borders.

I’ve been learning French for nearly 16 years now (😬) and a trip to Carrefour still feels like I’ve walked into an Équipe textbook 😂 (and speaking of which, I’ve just heard someone order a diabolo menthe for the first time in real life...!)

A lot of students might not have had a holiday this summer - and we've planned to start Y8 with holiday topic in Y8. Would you still teach it or shuffle things around?
