Also saw a bright but unusual meteor, heading S-N, ~6 UTC. It was on the slow side for a meteor, and broke up into a short-lived train of reddish-orange cinders, quite unlike the blues and greens I'm more familiar with.

Woo! That was an awesome here in northwest . Anyone else see it streak generally to the north about 8pm? Really wish I had my dashcam set up >_< ~30 degrees above horizon, in front of me going left to right as I passed Morris Rd on Anderson Mill Rd.

Quick glimpse in the sky of a flash of light with a tail as I drove home from a staff meeting tonight. Seeing a (even one of the modest “shooting star” variety) makes me strangely happy.

Wow! I just saw a very bright flying across the sky and it's not even night time! I realized it was to the north of me towards a city, so I also looked away just in case it was an RV lol Absolutely stunning!
