Totally agree! We are the damning, living proof of the damage has wreaked on thousands of our bodies! We should be recalled + all of our symptoms documented to get the real figures for damage. Go right back to when mesh was first used around 1998 for accuracy.

NHS Patients have a right to a copy of medical records with clinicians medical notes. Unfortunately the effective only way to challenge a surgeons notes on a procedure is in court as NHS Complaints processes ignore patients concerns!

The saddest part of the whole article... The panel was not tasked with evaluating data for the individual devices, nor with advising the FDA on whether or not they should stay on the US market

Look at Hernia research you'll find very short follow up on Trials & not all adverse outcomes are analysed & reported. Drs admit they underreported the reops for complications they retreat. Poor PROM Patient surveys/Qoly=Regulator recurrence rates are artificially low

So much research is flawed with short term follow up , small cohorts, conflicted authors, efficacy as primary outcome measure thus ignoring the true adverse event rate of eg pain.Doesn't sound like hysteria to me. Sounds like intelligent campaigners shining a spotlight
