Today in 1965-in action near Phu Cuong, 35 miles NW of Saigon-18 y/o PFC III of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry, threw himself on an enemy grenade, saving the lives of 4 comrades. Olive received the posthumously six months later.
