Yeah sure it's hurting women, not the predators in workplaces and the culture and systems that protect and empower them. 😐

Important piece. I have so many thoughts about it. Related thought: so much of generally not being able to take off in this country is about our frankly ridiculous defamation laws and we should never lose sight of that.

Two older women at the table next to me complaining about the movement. Apparently, “those girls got something in return”, “it was a transaction”, and “you can’t turn around years later and complain about it”. I’m this close to throwing a pot of fucking tea over them.

Two years ago, started a movement—millions spoke out and shared their stories. I'm fighting for an America where survivors receive the care they need, perpetrators are held accountable, and we can all be safe.

I have no doubt that the Gascoigne case is part of the backlash against . The already questionable equivalence of "he said/she said" has been replaced by that of "he thought/she thought", regardless of actions, witnesses, or even the legal definition of sexual assault.

It’s interesting how the anti movement is all: “Don’t hire women, they MIGHT claim sexual harassment!” And never “Don’t hire men, they MAY Sexually harass women!” (Neither of these statements are ok, just pointing out how the blame is always on the women).

To all narcissists: You don’t scare me. Your masks are slipping. You’re more exposed by the day. I see you. The world sees you. We are waking up, dusting off and getting to work. The backlash you’ll face for your actions is catching up to you.
