Rain continues into the overnight, for much of southern Manitoba. Areas in southwest and western areas of Manitoba will pick up a total of 15-30mm of rain and areas within the Red River Valley east to the Whiteshell could pick up 2 to 15mm. Isolated thunder possible.

Much needed rain is falling in much of southern Manitoba this evening, most of it will gradually shift east as the evening and night go on. There could be some lightning in some embedded areas as well. The trough moves east overnight.
