A representative for the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1596, confirms to me that buses do not come equipped with airbags for their drivers. She said she believes airbags could have saved the driver and prevented serious injury to the 2nd driver in bus crash.

Fatal bus accident on W. Princeton St. in . One disabled bus was struck by another bus. The driver in the rear bus of this picture was killed. The other driver was taken to the hospital. No passengers on either bus. 🚌

UPDATE: Local 1596 president says the first bus stalled out, which led to the driver getting out of the bus to check on the engine in the back. That’s when the second lynx bus crashed into him. The driver was crushed between both buses - killed instantly

Eastbound Lane of W. Princeton Street is now open to traffic. May still be awhile before the scene of this fatal bus accident is cleared

We had this lovely 1936 in today Unfortunately the charging system wasn't working thanks to dynamo design allowing a stone to get into the electrical windings and destroying it 😲 Luckily the owner booked it in with the experts What a car ❤️
