Just released 3.7! This release debuts support for "container refreshes", letting you do delta updates on your container copies. Also includes some TLS tweaks, improvement to "exec" operations and a new VXLAN config option. Find out more here:

That's so unfortunate. The vast, vast majority of my experience with system containers is that most applications ran perfectly fine in unprivileged system containers. Well protected with cgroups, user namespaces, apparmor, and seccomp.

Fwiw, has an option called security.idmap.isolated. If you set it in your default profile lxc profile set default security.idmap.isolated each container will run with a unique range of ids. See
