This morning a group of us went to at the ponds. We noticed so much life that depends on water: ducks, fish, birds, squirrels, plants. When we read our poem for the week, Ss reminded us we ALL need fresh, clean water to live. So we protect it.

The best part about our harvest foods explorations is all the connections drawn to what we know, what we’ve learned about our foods. Ss said it smelled like: cantaloupe, mustard, cucumber, mango... mmm!
