Yes I think this was an example of class warfare & a bit of ageism thrown in as well. The ALP policy I supported was the promise to phase out sheep Mr Bowen did say if you don't like the franking credit thing don't vote for us. Well obviously many elders listened 🤔

Ben that is not really true Anyone with franked shares gets the refund if they are retired. I am sad that Labor did not win as they were going to end Sheep But we have to play with the hand we are dealt. We all fight on for our own beliefs It's just a bump in the road

Keep pushing for the phaseout Joel. It is the moral thing to do. There will be more atrocities & eventually even & will have to say enough. But meanwhile I don't really care which side of politics ends it I just wish it would get done.

Yep Bill had too many messages I think but it's done now. My only reason for wanting a Labor win was the prospect of ending sheep & the only person who spoke of this was . I honestly have to say that Bill's messages were obviously too much for most to grasp

Now that the Libs have won the election live export will continue. We can thank animal agriculture farmers for this. If only our eyes saw souls instead of bodies. How very different ours ideals of beauty would be.

Brave and enlightened leader Sarah I have to say your about face on the bill really spoke a lot. Can't imagine Bob doing a rollover on an issue if he believed in it. Thats why he will be remembered as one of the greats. I don't think you lacked compassion just courage

This time last year, sheep were on live export ships suffering temperatures over 30 degrees, and crippling humidity. They were suffering then, and will suffer now while exporters send them into horrific conditions again. In May, sheep will suffer in live export.

To be rewarded by the federal government he'll have to get out of coal [because it's now up to Qld state to give final approvals]. Might be evilC's next $$-raiser? Nothing would surprise me.

That’s right Suzanne. In all my stress over the election result I’d forgotten about that. Thank god there’s still some hope for animals. Thanks for lifting my spirits a little.

Live export from 17/05/19 Police stopped protesters getting to slats on one side of lorry. 1 protestor arrested. How do we get bigger numbers? What would make you come to Ramsgate? Imagine if it were you in the truck!
